Rainy Day Tailers!!

Today was one of the most interesting days I have had on the Lagoon in a while. When Chris and I started off the day we had moderate winds and light rain. The fish were mostly laying around on the flat with an occasional tail here and there. It seemed like we were spooking fish left and right. We did have a few nice strikes on light tackle but no hook-ups.

But after lunch was a different story!!! It was crazy, the wind laid right down and the rain picked up. Totally wild!!!! Once that flat laid down calm, up came the tails!!! For the next two hours Chris made one cast after another to big tails. Finally it all came together and this nice Redfish eat one of my new shrimp patterns. After a good long run into the backing he came to hand.

Looks like another cold front is moving in tomorrow, but should be out of here on Thursday night. Today was a great start for the month of February!!!

Book your trip today!!

See ya on the water,

Capt. Todd
